Exposing the ByteEpic Scam

ByteEpic disabled user account Scam

ByteEpic claimed to be an innovative platform using AI to transform user experiences, but it was a well-crafted scam. By exploiting trust in AI, they lured individuals in Romania with false promises of returns.

In reality, ByteEpic built a façade of legitimacy through strategic marketing and fake AI claims. At its peak, the scam led to the sudden closure of over 400 accounts, leaving victims without money or answers from 3.12.2024.
This article uncovers ByteEpic’s deceptive tactics and raises awareness to help others avoid similar traps. Read on to learn how trust was turned into betrayal.

It all began in September when a friend invited me to join. After hearing about it, I decided to take the risk and invest some USDT to see how things would unfold. The story sounded too good to be true, and although I had my doubts, I made the decision quickly and took the leap.

Once I sent the money, I was invited to join a WhatsApp group. One of the first things I did was request my 1 USDT bonus, which they promised for joining the group. In the image, you can see the admins of the group at that time. Fast forward three months, and we were introduced to a new “manager” in the group named William. According to WhatsApp, his full name was Jacob William Taylor.

I’ll also share the PDF file we received, which contained his so-called “course.”
